Das Balule Reservat hat eine offene Grenze zum Kruger Park und ist somit Teil dieses riesigen Naturparks und beheimatet alle südafrikanischen Großtiere einschliesslich der Big Five. Der Olifants River lockt eine Vielzahl von Wildtieren an, darunter Elefanten, Büffel, Wasserböcke, Giraffen und Löwen. Natürlich sind hier Flusspferde und Krokodile sehr zahlreich und eine Attraktion für die Besucher des Reservats.

Für ein authentisches Safari Gefühl mitten im afrikanischen Busch, bietet das Camp die Gelegenheit, in luxuriösen 5 Safari-Zelten zwischen Marula, Knobthorn, Akazien und Sausage Trees zu schlafen. Die Gäste erleben den Busch hautnah, mit seinen Gerüchen und den durchaus unheimlichen Geräuschen in der Nacht. Die Zelte stehen auf einer Anhöhe und bieten Aussicht auf ein trockenes Flussbett, die Buschsavanne und die Drakensberge. Das Camp wird von James und Sonja zusammen mit ihrem kompetenten und herzlichen Team geführt und sie sind stolz auf die freundliche Atmosphäre, die hier herrscht. Eine tägliche Safaritour durch das Balule Reservat wird angeboten, ebenso wird eine Tour in den Kruger Park durchgeführt, die den ganzen Tag dauert. Eine Tour zum Blyde River Canyon ist ebenfalls sehr beeindruckend. Und auch besonders zu empfehlen: eine Bootsfahrt auf dem Olifants River. Man kann vom Camp aus den Baobab und den Kinyonga Park erkunden und auch eine Heißluftballon-Fahrt unternehmen. Es gibt also reichlich Gelegenheit, seinen Aufenthalt überaus interessant zu gestalten. Das SAUSAGE TREE SAFARI CAMP bietet den perfekten Rückzugsort zum Entspannen nach einem Tag voller Eindrücke. The Balule Reserve has an open border to the Kruger Park and is therefore part of this huge nature park and is home to all South African large animals including the Big Five. The Olifants River attracts a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes and lions. Of course, hippos and crocodiles are very numerous here and an attraction for visitors to the reserves. The SAUSAGE TREE SAFARI CAMP is not only surrounded by African wilderness, but also offers a spectacular view of the northern Drakensberg. A daily safari tour of the Balule Reserve is offered, as well as a tour to Kruger Park that lasts all day, a tour to the Blyde River Canyon is also very impressive and especially recommended: a boat trip on the Olifants River. You can explore the baobab and Kinyonga Park from the camp and take a hot air balloon ride. So there is plenty of opportunity to make your stay extremely interesting.
